District 9 city Councilwoman Cherelle Parker and other City Hall members held a sit-down to discuss minority contractors working at Philadelphia International Airport and the Navy Yard.

The Philadelphia Tribune reports that the hearing included the Commerce and Economic Development Committee regarding Ordinance 160042, which was passed by City Hall in January and authorized required hearings regarding diverse participation and economic opportunities in businesses contracted by the airport and Navy Yard.
