Mayor-elect Kenney hosts first town hall in Olney.

Jim Keney and his staff will host their first town hall meeting in Olney

Jim Kenney and his staff will host their first town hall meeting at Central High School on Nov. 30.

Soon-to-be mayor Jim Kenney will host his first community town hall in Olney at Central High School on November 30.  Kenney and his transition team will be at 1700 W. Olney Ave. at 6 p.m.  and hold three other town hall meetings in South Philly, Mayfair and Strawberry Mansion later that week.

The newly elected mayor does not officially take over from Mayor Nutter until January, but he has announced four town hall meetings throughout Philadelphia to hear directly from citizens. Seating is not limited but Kenney’s official website asks that attendees RSVP. Click this link to register for the Central High-based event.

If you can’t make it out on Monday night, the Olney Post will cover the event and post it here.
