Olney West High School Loses $4 Million Grant

The Department of Labor decided not to grant Olney West $4.4 million because the school converted to a charter school and it fell off the persistently dangerous school list, reports The Notebook.org. The grant is used by schools to fund violence prevention, mentoring and job training for students.
