‘Staggering number’ of Catholic Schools May Close in Philadelphia

A panel created to objectively inspect the financial future of Catholic elementary and high schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia is speculated to announce the closing of many Catholic schools in the archdiocese at a press conference this Friday.

Olney is the home of two Catholic schools, Incarnation of our Lord and St. Helena elementary school.  The Olney Post will keep you updated with any possible changes that may occur to those schools.

An unamed source said to the Inquirer, “Even if they’re staying open, every single school will be impacted.”
